Where are the products made?

All Mila Vardì jewelry are hand made in our studio in Ottawa, Canada. 

How does a made to order piece of jewelry work?

All our jewelry is made to order, so please allow 3-7 days of production and  fulfilment during busy periods. All our pieces are handmade using the same materials, techniques, and process as seen in each photo. Keep in mind, with all handmade items there might be slight variations/differences. 

Are the earring posts hypoallergenic?

Yes, all of the earring posts used are 925 sterling silver.

Can I return my purchase?

All our items are made to the greatest possible care and attention to detail, however if you are dissatisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 3 days of receiving your item and we will be happy to issue a one time exchange (excluding packaging, shipping and handling). Unfortunately we do not issue refunds. Any items purchased that are on sale, part of a promotion or customized are FINAL SALE. We do not refund price differences if an item/s was purchased before a sale or promotional event. 

Do you offer custom orders?

We will accommodate custom orders whenever possible. Email your request to info@milavardi.com. Additional charges may apply and all sales involving custom work are final.

Do you ship overseas?

 Yes, we ship all over the world.

What shipping carries do you use?

We ship all our orders via Canada Post. Only sterling silver orders come with a tracking number. If you prefer for your package to be shipped with a different carrie, please contact us before making a purchase and we will do our best to accommodate you. 

How long will it take to get my order?

All pieces are handmade to order, please allow 3 to 7 days for production and fulfillment during busy periods. Orders processed within Canada generally take 5-8 business days to arrive. Orders to the United States take 7-21 business days to arrive and Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 3-5 weeks.

How do I care for my jewels?

Each piece has been made by hand and should be gently cared for. To prolong the integrity of your jewelry and prevent tarnish, store jewelry in a sealed plastic bag or jewelry box after each use. Direct contact with cosmetics, perfumes, lotions and chemically treated water may accelerate tarnishing process.

Sterling silver 

To keep your sterling silver shiny, gently clean with a polishing cloth. Daily wear will help keep your sterling silver bright and clean, but be cautious with beauty and hair products, after your beauty routine be sure to rinse well and dry the piece. For stubborn tarnish give it a dunk in warmed white vinegar. Avoid the vinegar method for any stones set in jewelry.

 Brass

If oxidation has accumulated on brass components it can simply be cleaned back to its original appearance using lemon juice. Take half a lemon and squeeze into a bowl. Dip a soft cloth into the lemon juice and polish the brass surface in a gentle circular motion. Wash the item with warm water and dry immediately. 

I want to gift a Mila Vardì piece, will the price be visible?

 All our pieces are shipped in a mini bag with care instructions and a complimentary polishing cloth ready to be gifted. The price is not visible and we can add a gift message to your order on your behalf.
